By means of experiment and researc h for positive pressure pulse pneumatic conveying of high-density polyethylene ( HDPE ), the formulas of pressure drop and the air-solid ratio is obtained, an d the tank truck of HDPE pellet has been developed which has tank volume of 50 m 3, conveying length of 70 m and 30 m high and conveying capacity of 15 t/h, an d only 0.3% remaining material.
The paper offers a new kind of particles collision model by only considering the effect which the gravity and resistance of air current have on the particles and omitting particles rotation and liftting force .
