Three hundred eighty five varieties with resistant and moderately resistance were selected. Repeated tests showed that there are a sort of wheat varieties with high and stable resistance among the wheat germplasm resources, which were not reported in the early research work on wheat resistance to scab. So far, these varieties have still been the most excellent scab-resistant sources, in addition, moderately resistant and susceptible varieties may also be utilized as resistance sources.The scab-resistant resources of wheat germplasm were mainly distributed to the scab epidemic regions in the world. The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtse River which is one of the regions where scab occurs frequently, is abundant in resources of the resistance to scab. Among the tested rare species, most of them were susceptible, and a few were moderately susceptible, and none of resistant and moderately resistant varieties was discovered. Of the tested related plants, a species of Secale showed moderately resistant.

作者在田间人工接菌和加湿的条件下,系统研究了17,621个普通小麦品种(系)、20个种族的801个稀有种(品种)、三个属的25个近缘植物材料,以及118个小黑麦对赤霉病(Gibberella zeae)的抗性,筛选出385个抗和中抗品种。经多年反复测定证明:小麦品种资源中存在一类早期研究没有报道过的抗性强而稳定的品种,它们是目前世界上最优良的抗源;中度抗病及中度感病的品种亦可作为抗病育种的抗源;抗赤霉病的小麦品种资源主要分布于世界上赤霉病流行区。由于长江中下游是世界上赤霉病流行最频繁的地区之一,因而抗赤霉病的小麦品种资源亦极为丰富;供试的小麦稀有种,大多是感赤霉病的,少数是中度感病的,没有发现抗或中抗的种(品种);供鉴定的近缘植物材料中有一个黑麦属材料是中度抗病的。抗赤霉病性(以下简称抗赤性)与株高没有固定的联系,但与颖壳颜色、腊质层、叶色、小穗排列稀密度、毛茸以及开花习性等特征特性有一定的联系。

57 excellent wheat varieties were sieved and divided into 8 types,disease-res istant and high yield;fine overwhelming majority characters;disease-resistant and short-stalked;disease-resistant and early-maturing;disease-resistant and late-maturing;heavy ear and more number kernels;big grain and gold ripeness. The grain protein content of 240 wheat varieties both domestic and abrood were appraised and some highly utilizable varieties rich in protein have been found.

本研究主要对1000余份河南省常用小麦亲本材料进行农艺性状和抗病性鉴定分类研究,初步筛选出57份抗病丰产、综合性状好、抗病矮秆、抗病早熟、抗病晚熟、大穗多粒、大粒型、落黄好8种类型优异资源。并对240份国内外小麦品种资源进行籽粒蛋白质含量测定,找到了一些很有利用价值的高蛋白质资源。

对1975、1976、1979和1984年小麦品种资源进行了抗赤霉病性与产量性状的简单相关分析,并对1984、1985年小麦中抗—抗赤霉病品种(系)进行了表型相关、遗传相关和环境相关分析。小麦抗赤霉病性与株高、每穗粒数、穗中部最大小穗粒数表现正相关;与穗长关系不密切;与每穗小穗数和单株有效穗数没有相关;与小穗密度及千粒重的相关性较复杂,表现为正相关或负相关。小麦抗赤霉病新品种(系)的丰产性状已有改进,植株高度明显降低,每穗粒数和千粒重有所提高。
