This paper holds that earthquakes are developed in the form of the stored stress of potential energy after energy has been transferred to an area with large curvature in the crustal sub-surface by heat eonvection of mantle material; at the same time the area has also accumulated charges by virtue of properties of plasma. This is similar to the charging of a spherical condenser by electrostatic accelerator. When the intensity of electric field is high enough to breakdown the high resistance layer in the crust, the point discharge would occur in the area with large curvature. And as the high breakdown voltage goes through the crust, the dielectric strength of high resistance there would be seriously destroyed, thus making it possible to trigger the releasing of stress energy. Known from the electromagnetic effects that, before releasing of stress energy electro-magnetie signals of earthquake precursors with certain degree of intensity would occur. The high frequency component would be absorbed or reflected by the low resistance layer in the crust. But large portion of low frequency component would directly penetrate through crust. The reflected parts of both low and high frequency in the high resistance layer are transmitted by means of waveguide to relatively remote areas, penetrating through outcrops of bed rock or faults to the atmosphere.Through brief discussion in this paper the frcquecy of electromagnetic radiation of more than thousands hertz and the power of about millions kilowatt are obtained before earthquakes. These results can be used to interpret the anomalously electromagnetic precursors before earthquakes, and to serve as reference to select the receiving band and to design the receiving system for professionals who want to catch scismically electromagnetic signals.

本文认为,地震是由地慢物质的热对流将能量输送到地壳下表面曲率大的地区后,以储存应力势能的形式孕育成的;同时由地慢物质的等离子态性质可知,在这里也累积有电荷。这好象静电加速器对一个大的球形电容器充电一样,当电场强度达到足以击穿地壳高电阻层时,就会在曲率大的地方发生尖端放电。强大的击穿电流透过地壳时,使这里的高电阻层介质强度受到破坏,这就可能触发释放应力势能。按电磁学效应可知,在释放应力能量之前,将有一定强度的地震前兆电磁波产生。这些电磁波的高频部分将被地壳低电阻层吸收和反射。而大部分低频波却可以直接透射出地壳。它们的反射部分,在高电阻层中以波导形式传递到较远的地方,并在基岩露头或断层处逸出地壳表层,进入大气空间。 经本文粗略讨论后给出地震前产生的电磁波频率在几千赫芝以上。而功率约为几百万千瓦特。这可供解释地震前兆中出现的电磁波异常现象;也可以供捕捉地震电磁波信息的工作者选择接收频段和设计接收系统参考。

Infrared absorption and reflectance speetra are measured on p-type PbTe coating materials at wavelengths from 2.5 to 50μm and at temperatures from 300 to 75.6K. It is observed that the "mild" PbTe material possesses a small absorption and a small plasma reflectivity minimum at wavelengths longer than 40μm.

在波长2.5~50μm,温度300~75.6K之间测量了PbTe镀膜材料的红外吸收和反射光谱.实验结果表明:“软特性”PbTe镀膜材料具有较低的吸收和极小值较低的反射光谱,对应的波长大于40μm.
