Modern optimum design of machine and engineering structures includes the following main contents: structure parameter optimum design, optimal shape design and layout optimization, which are interconnectional as well as mutually independent.
Starting off from angle of mechanism,this paper has derived the computation formulae of locus deviation of movement of single leaf spring vibrating mechanism,set up the mathematical model of parameter optimum design,and developed corresponding computation programs.
The functions and composition of the ZJCAD software for corrugated board structures are elaborated. Detailed exposition is also laid on the structure design program module,the program module for man-machine dialogue and parameter input,the program module for parameter optimal design,and the output program module for the plane expansion graph and the production graph.
Two algorithms for the solution of a parametric optimal design problem are developed and applied to example problems from diverse fields, such as finite allocation problems, optimal design of dynamical systems, and Chebyshev approximation.
