In the case of Cs~+ ion permeating into the lattice space of TiO_2,the n-type conductance of TiO_2 that has VO_4 tetrahedron combined on its surfacewill be increased. It favors the grasp of oxygen atom from gas phase.

The interaction of impinging ions with C 60 clusters was found to force the C 60 molecules to disintegrate and the films to amorphize.
When the Na2CO3 content is increased say to 7.8 wt%, the Na + enhance will occupy the interstitial position and therefore the n-type conductivity of Sm2O3. Change of the n-type conductivity directly affects the step of O2 + 2e → 2 Os-.
