Besides the morPhometric changes of the organelles reported in the Previous Paper, the changes in synthetic and secretory organelles,including the changes of Vv, Sv and Nv of RER, Golgi complex and secretory granules, were investigated in aged rats. It was found that certain changes occurred with aging in all of the adenohypoPhyseal cells. The Vv and Sv of RER decreased with age in ACTH,LH/FSH and TSH cells, and so did the Vv and Sv of Golgi complex in LH/FSH cells and the Sv of Golgic complex in ACTH cells....

The data provide the first morphological evidence that GAP is present in the pituitary gonadotrophs of normal rats, and that GAP regulates LH and FSH secretion. These data also support that the functional sequence of GAP is at, or cleaved from, its N-terminal.

the distal parts of anterior pituitary from the male yak and male cattle-yak were observed with electron microscope.The FSH cells of male cattle-yak became seriously malformed,which contained only small number of secretory granules,the cytoplasm entered into cell nucleus.As a result,the abnomality of FSH cells in male cattle-yak is one of the direct causes of male steriolity.In this paper,the further researches which should be done in cattle-yak's reproductive endocrinology are discussed.
