The application of modern long-distance education method in higher agricultural education is one of the most important signs for the change of traditional agricultural education to modern agricultural education.Higher agricultural colleges are the leaders of both agricultural education and the application of modern long-distance education.Since the education is less developed in the last area with a large population in our country,it is put forward in this thesis to utilizie the advantage of modern long-distance education which can break the limits of time and space and also bounds between colleges,carry out the strategy of education model which can cut across time and space and reverse education model,develop higher agricultural education,and at the same time,to build the model of running school and education circumstance which fit for the development of modern long-distance education.

The modern agricultural education in China, which started in the 19th to the early 20th century, has basically formed an agricultural education system with Chinese characteristics, during the development of almost 100 years just past. Tracing back through the development in the 20th century, there are hardships, endured a tortuous bitterness, and also the brilliant achievements for consolation. In this article, main lined by the ideological change and academic development of Chinese agricultural education in the 20th century, here divide the hundred years of agricultural education into four periods, with research and analysis of the development in different historical periods and their characteristics.

我国现代农业教育发端于19世纪末到20世纪初,经历刚刚过去的百年发展,已经初步形成了具有中国特色的农业教育体系。回顾20世纪的发展轨迹,有筚路蓝缕的艰辛,有曲折动荡的苦涩,也有辉煌成就的慰藉。本文以20世纪中国农业教育的思想变革和学制发展为主线,尝试将百年农业教育划分为四个历史发展时期,并研究分析了不同历史时期的发展状况和发展特征。
