After the sera were seperated, the concentrations of the circulating immune complexes were determined with the PEG complement consumption test. It was found that the dynamic curves of the concentrations of the circulating immune complexes of the two groups were essentially similar. This result strongly suggests that total body irradiation of gamma rays given five days after the sensitization of an antigen exerts no influence on the formation of the circulating immune complexes though acute radiation sickness is well established.

A simple and quick chemical precipitation method for determining HDL subclasses of serum was presented. Using dextran sulfate (DS) of 50,000 M. W. and Mg2+, HDL subclasses were separated by two-step precipitation. After thorough mixing, centrifuged at 1500 μ g for 30 min, the second supernatant was obtained, and HDL3 cholesterol was quantitated by the aforementioned enzymatio method. The results were multiplied by 1.1 for HDL and 1.21 for HDL3 to compensate for the dilution, then HDLa cholesterol content could be estimated by their difference. For this method, the 0V of intra-day test was 2.9% (n=16) and that of inter-day test was 1.0% (n=22) in a period of 33 days. The mean values of HDL subclasses by this method in 65 healthy males and 65 healthy females were given.

本文报道采用国产沉淀剂(硫酸葡聚糖和氯化镁)分离血清中高密度脂蛋白亚组分(HDL_2和HDL_3),并用酶学测定其胆固醇含量的实验方法。操作简便、快速,且无需特殊的仪器设备,重复性和稳定性良好,与超速离心法比较,结果颇为一致,相关系数γ=0.96。用本法测得部分健康人的HDL_2胆固醇平均值±标准差男、女分别为19.29±5.58mg/dl和23.40±6.94mg/dl,HDL_3胆固醇则男、女分别为34.70±6.98mg/dl和37.03±7.80mg/dl。
