Cellular signal transduction or Signaling is a basic event of life phenomena . It is closely related with the processes of the growth, development, differentiation, heredity, study, and memory of the living things . As the special types of life phenomena, diseases, aging and dying processes are also associated with the signal transduction . The research work in this area include the studies of a series of events involved in the formation , secretion, transportation, transmission, and conversion of the signaling molecules or signals. The characteristics of the life phenomena and the methods and the ways people used to study them determined the very important position of the signaling research in the whole life sciences. This article is aimed to provide an elucidation on this general understanding.

Human lung adenocarcinoma cell lines regain expression of antigen CA X when xenografted into athymia mice. Conclusion: These data indicate that CA X synthesis in human lung adenocarcinoma cells SpcA1 is regulated by factors presented only in the xenograft.

目的:探讨肿瘤相关抗原CA-X体内外表达的差异性。方法:采用蛋白质印迹法和流式细胞术分别检测肺腺癌细胞株移植裸鼠前后抗原表达的变化。结果:CA-X为高分子量糖蛋白,体外培养的SpcA1细胞株不表达CA-X,而一旦移植入裸鼠后,肿瘤重又表达该抗原。结论:肿瘤相关抗原CA-X移植入裸鼠后重新表达,说明CA-X的表达调控受体内某些因素的调控,也可能与细胞间信号转导有关。
