Objective To evaluate the disinfection efficacy of glycerine-calcium hydroxide paste through comparative study of formo-cresol (Fc), camphor phenol (cp) and glycerine-calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2] paste in the application in root canal disinfection. Methods One hundred and fourteen teeth with chronic apical pulpitis without previous treatment were selected and randomly divided into 3 groups . After routine root canal preparation, the root canals were sealed with Fc, cp and glycerine-calcium hydroxide paste respectively....

Census of the subsequent clinical reaction to these preparations was performed, according to the reaction gradation of grade I, grade II and grade III. Results Glycerine-calcium paste produced the highest rate of grade III reaction and lowest rate of grade II, which showed a marked difference statistically (P<0.05). Conclusion Glycerine-calcium hydroxide paste offers satisfactory disinfection of the root canal.

目的 通过对甲醛甲酚(Fc)、樟脑酚(cp)、甘油、氢氧化钙糊剂在根管消毒中的应用比较,评价氢氧化钙的消毒效果。方法 临床随机选择慢性根尖周炎初诊患牙114颗并随机分为3组,备根后根管内分别封Fc、cp或氢氧化钙糊剂,按I、II、III级临床反应统计结果。结果 氢氧化钙I级反应率最高,III级反应率最低,经统计学处理有显著性差异(P<0.05)。结论 氢氧化钙用于根管消毒药效肯定。
