This paper presents the principles concerning the design aud constructionin light of our own experiences, that include: 1. Main indexes of material consumptions coneluded from a large numberof such projects abroad and at home for use in preliminary design. 2. Basing, on experience data and empirical formulas, a suitable type ofsuperstructure as well as its approximate dimensions is to be selected. 3. The principles of design and the related problems are discussed, the"Synthetic Program" is recommended to deal with the computation of thestresses and deflections due to loads and other effects in control sectionsunder different construction stages. 4. The use of free cantilever method in construction and the determi-nation of consruction procedures in connection with the transformation of system in different stages are also demonstrated.

Radioisotope thermoelectric generators(RTGs)have successfully provided power for space missions since the early 1960’s.Their safety,reliability, long-life performance and survivability have been thoroughly demonstrated for multiple applications of earth orbital flying,Iunar scienti-fic experiments and planetary exploration,With regard to the energy conversion systems,the static isotope power system has been continuously improved and the dynamic isotope power system combining the general purpose heat source modules with closed brayton cycle has been started to develop in recent years,so as to increase the efficiencv of thermo-electric conversion.The launch schedule of spacecraft powered by isotope energy system in the 1990’s is given in this paper,and the application prospects of isotope power system are also forecasted here.

This paper gives a presentation of the design and construction technique in the reform work of Beijing Zhongshan Music Hall with the addition of a basement and the change of the supporting system of foundation. The project has adopted the method of using"two piles to support a column" as a system of load transfer of the foundation and for the creation of more space to the underground basement. During the construction, by using mechanical drilling of holes, chemical binding of reinforcements, transferring the supports through sections to guarantee the integral stability of the supports for the excavation of the basement so as to avoid the possible unsafety in foundation supports and the increase of underground basement area. The realization of this project has paved a new way for the development of underground space resource for the reform of urban construction.

论述北京中山音乐堂改扩建工程整体基础托换和地下加层设计施工技术。该工程采用“两桩托一柱”法的结构传力转换体系,实现整体基础托换,并最终达到了增加地下室,利用地下空间的目的。施工中采用机械钻孔化学生根钢筋、分段托换和开挖地下室以保证整体稳定的措施,避免了基础整体托换和地下加层过程中出现不安全因素。该工程的实践为开发城市地下空间资源、进行城市建筑改造开辟了一条新途径,可供有关工程参考。
