An recombinant inbred lines (RIL) BC1F5 population derived from Dongxiang wild rice (DY) and Xieqingzao B (XB) was employed to study the genetic basis of several components of cell walls, e.g. acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), and acid detergent lignin (ADL).

Effective degradability of ADL (acid detergent lignin) of WMLE treated with NaOH-biology combination treatment was higher than that of WMLE treated with NaOH, biology, control (respectively, 39. 36%, P<0. 05?41. 05%, P<0. 05; 116. 98%, P<0. 01).
