Results: The rate of the public basic scientific literacy of national minorities in Guizhou was 0. 13%. In it the rate of grasping the basic scientific knowledge was 0. 8% ; the rate of basically knowing scientific knowledge was 5.9% ; the rate of basically knowing the relationship between science and society was 9. 3%. It is obvious that the rate was lower than the rate of basic scientific literacy in China in 2001 (1.4%) . Conclusions: The scientific literacy of national minorities in Guizhou is poor. It should be valued by the government and the relative departments as science and technology, and popularity of science, etc. Various measures should be taken with aim to improve the ability of scientific literacy of national minorities in Guizhou.

目的:了解贵州省少数民族公众科学素养现状,提出对策思考。方法:采用国际通用的社会学、人类学和统计学方法分层整群抽样方法和2003年中国科协制定的科学素养测试体系和问卷模式,对具有代表性的布依族、苗族 侗族、水族、瑶族和毛南族6种少数民族18~69岁的1517人进行抽样调查,并分析其结果。结果:贵州省少数民族公众具备基本科学素养的比例为0.13%,其中掌握基本科学知识的比例为0.8%,基本了解科学知识的比例为5.9%,基本了解科学与社会之间的关系的比例为9.3%,明显低于2001年我国公众具备基本科学素养1.4%的比例。结论:贵州省少数民族公众科学素养低下,应引起政府和科技、科普等有关部门高度重视,采取形式多样、针对性措施,提高贵州省少数民族公众的科学素养能力。

目的:了解贵州少数民族公众科学素养的文化程度差异。方法:采用国际通用的社会学、人类学和统计学方法分层整群抽样方法和 2003年中国科协制定的科学素养测试体系和问卷模式,对具有代表性的布依族、苗族、侗族、水族、瑶族和毛南族 6种少数民族 18~69岁的 1517人进行抽样调查,并分析其结果。结果:贵州少数民族公众科学素养与文化程度高低呈正相关,文化程度越高,具有基本科学素养的比例越大。结论:必须振兴少数民族教育,才能从根本上提高贵州少数民族公众的科学素养。
