A method for the determination of trace amount of silver, tin, lead, boron and gallium in geochemical exploration samples by electric arc distillation-emission spectrometry is described. The influences of various buffers and fractional distillation effect on determination of these elements have been studied. The operating current is optimized and electrode type and internal standard element are carefully selected. Under the optimized condition, the detection limits for these elements are (0.01~1.0)×10~(-6 ) with precision of 5.4%~11.8% RSD (n=12). The method has been applied to the determination of these elements in soils and geostandard samples with satisfactory results.

报道了采用电弧蒸馏光谱法对化探样品中痕量Ag、Sn、Pb、B和Ga等元素的测定方法的改进。试验了多种缓冲剂的效果和分馏效应,选择了最佳工作电流、电极规格和内标元素。方法可以充分分馏待测元素,分离基体元素,消除由于基体元素进入弧焰所带来的背景干扰,并使待测元素的谱线强度大为增强,对Ag、Sn、Pb、B和Ga方法的检出限分别为0.01~1.0μg/g,精密度试验RSD(n=12)在5.4%~11.8%。方法经土壤国家一级标准物质分析验证,结果与标准值相符。
