A joint source and channel video algorithm based on Data Partitioning(DP) of newly H.263++ Annex V was introduced. Video data are first partitioned according to their importance at encoder. Then different important data partitions are further encoded with unequal error protection at channel encoder. The experimental results show that this proposed coding algorithm is more error robust against the common separate coding mode under high error wireless channel.

在对 H.2 6 L视频编码中帧内帧间宏块编码失真和传输误码失真及扩散的理论分析基础上 ,提出了一种面向无线信道的 H.2 6 L编码模式率失真优化判决策略 .考虑在编码模式选择时结合信道误码扩散模型 ,通过简化的率失真判决策略 ,使编码视频流具有很好的自适应误码恢复能力 ,且计算复杂度较低 .典型无线信道环境中的测试结果表明 ,在增加不多计算量的情况下 ,该算法比传统方法具有更强的抗误码鲁棒性 .

Rate-distortion optimization based intra refresh coding algorithm is one of the effective solutions to improve the robustness of coded video in packet-loss environment. After analysing the character and drawback of RD optimized coding algorithm used by H.264 standard, an improved algorithm is proposed. Simulation has shown that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the computing redundancy in standard algorithm to improve the coding efficiency.

要提高编码视频流在丢包信道中对误码的鲁棒性,基于率失真理论的帧内刷新优化编码算法是一种较为有效的解决办法。在分析了H.264标准采用的率失真优化编码算法的技术特点和不足的基础上,提出了一种改进算法。仿真实验表明,提出的算法可以有效降低H.264标准算法中存在的计算冗余,提高编码效率。
