The results indicate that the intersymbol interference and multiple access interference are the main factors that degrade the system performance, which, on the other hand, may be improved by antenna diversity.

It's important for evaluating UWB physical layers protocol, system design and system performance analysis to establish a universal stochastic UWB indoor channel model. The typical characteristics of UWB indoor channel are first introduced. Then based on sounding channel, UWB reference channel model is studied. And the performance parameters of reference channel model are simulated. The simulation results are compared with sounding channel statistics parameters. It is analyzed that the structure of channel model has an important influence on system design and performance assessment. The disadvantages of UWB reference channel model are pointed out. At last further study on UWB indoor channel model is necessary.

通用且随机的超宽带室内信道模型对物理层标准评价、系统设计和性能分析起重要作用。本文首先介绍了超宽带室内信道的典型特征,然后在信道探测的基础上详细描述了超宽带室内参考信道模型,并结合具体超宽带室内环境对信道模型参数进行仿真,将仿真结果与探测信道统计特性进行比较,分析了信道模型结构对系统设计和性能分析的影响,指出超宽带室内参考信道模型的局限性,最后得出进一步研究超宽带室内信道模型的必要性。

In this paper, UWB indoor channel models were discussed in time and frequency domain. it's introduced path loss channels and several indoor channel models at small-scale fading. The difference between the measure parameters with the traditional model's parameters in LOS and NLOS case is analyzed and the modified channel model is presented. The difficulties of channel modeling and the development trend are introduced in the end of this paper.

对超宽带(UWB)室内信道模型在时域和频域进行了讨论,并介绍了在小范围衰落情况下的时域和频域的多种信道模型,以及较实用的路径损耗模型。根据测量结果分析了传统模型在视距(LOS)和非视距(NLOS) 情况下实测数据统计参数与模型参数的差异,并给出改进后的信道模型。最后讨论了超宽带信道建模所面临的困难和研究方向。
