Based on an analysis of the problems existing in the “teacher oriented” model of teacher training in China and the prospective teachers professional psychological orientation , this paper emphasizes that teacher training should help the students develop their “teachers psychology”, establish modern teaching thought, and cultivate practical teaching ability and the ability to design and organize “activity curricula”.

This essay has also made concrete assumptions on both the teaching periods of the activity course in junior high school and the prescribed learning contents of the activity course in grade one of junior high school. The teaching objectives of the activity course in junior grade one are listed, and four teaching plans are offered as a teaching model for the reference and discussion.
