行动研究是一种日益受到人们关注的融教育理论与实践于一体的教育研究方法。其实践性、合作性、开放性、及时反馈性和兼容性特点决定了它较适合于没有接受过严格教育实验训练的我国中小学教师使用 ;符合中小学教育科研的发展战略 ;有利于改变中小学教师的职业形象 ,提高中小学教师的教育科研素养 ,促进教师专业化发展 ,对于提高中小学教育教学质量具有十分重要的意义。尽管行动研究主旨不在于建构教育理论体系 ,但是它在立足于实践的基础上 ,仍将建构教育理论体系作为自己的终极目标 ,从这个意义上说 ,行动研究为走入困境中的教育理论的发展提供了新的生长点。
