The numerical results of the paper agree with the data measured by RAM C flights. The method can be also used to study the propagation of the electromagnetic waves through other inhomgeneous media.

本文以样条函数(spline function)作为电磁波Helmholtz方程的近似解,求解了等离子体鞘套的反射系数和透射系数。本文采用的样条函数法具有数学推导和数字计算简单,可适用于任意电子浓度分布的优点,并且计算结果与美国RAM C系列飞行实测数据吻合得比较好。同时,本方法还可用于求解其它不均匀介质中的电波传播问题。

In the paper the finite difference method and the finite element method have been used to determine the temperature distribution through the multilayer isulative systems of the space shuttle. The computed results have been compared with the STS-2 flight data and other experimental results; they show good agreements.

本文采用有限差分法及有限元素法计算了航天飞机防热结构的一、二维温度分布,并与飞行实测数据及实验结果进行了比较,符合较好。
