Because of very low chrgo temperature of the LNG carrier, which is about -162℃, thermal stresses will be induced in the tank system whea the ship is loaded. In this paper, thermal stresses in frequently used Moss Rosenberg spherical tank system are investigated. A method to calculate the thermal stress is developed. The distibution pattern and main features of the thermal stress are discussed according to the numerical results calculated for typieal tank systems.

A parametric study for preliminary design of large capacity refrigerated LPG/LNG is presented. The range of capacity is from 25000m~3 to 140000m~3. Relations among the main dimensions, weights of various components and the expected performance are given in empirical formulae. Mathematical model for computer program are illustrated with an example, which shows fairly good approximation with the data obtained from the detailed calculation of a vessel actually built.

本文适合于容量25000至140000立方米冷冻液化石油气(下称LPG)及液化天然气(下称LNG)船总体设计方案研究。根据笔者大量资料分析,对船舶主尺度、船体结构、舾装、机电设备、液舱重量、总体性能的变化,并建立了数学模型和计算程序,文章最后结合实例与已完工船舶的数据列表于表1。

本文根据结构可靠性理论的基本原理,并按照 IGC 规则的有关要求,研究了液化气体船液舱结构的疲劳可靠性问题,给出了用一阶二次矩方法计算液舱疲劳寿命可靠度的迭代流程。本文还根据“破坏前渗漏”准则,研究了裂纹穿透液舱壁出现渗漏后液舱可靠度的计算问题。此外,文中对若干影响液舱结构疲劳可靠性的重要不确定因素作了分析和讨论。
