This paper reports the investigation of laser-induced optogalvanic effects and spectra of six samples CH3Cl, CH3OH, C2H3OH, C2H3C1, C2H4 and NH3. Intense optogalvanic effects have been observed. A new Zeeman stabilized He-Ne laser in a longitudinal magnetic field was developed. The frequency differences between two oppositely circularly polarized components were 1.25MHz, 625kHz or 312.5kHz and the variation was ±1 Hz. The frequency stability for ls or 10s was better than 2×10-11 The frequency resettability was ±1×1O-8 during two months. The frequency can be tuned continuously over a range of 150MHz.

研制了一台新型纵向磁场中的Zeeman稳频激光器。两个圆偏振光的频差为1.25MHz、625kHz或312.5kHz,其变化量为±1Hz,1秒或10秒的频率稳定度优于2×10~(-11)。两个月内的频率再现性为±1×10~(-8)。频率可在150MHz范围内连续可调谐。

For chosing parameters of a stabilization beat-frequency longtudinal Zeeman laser, we analyse its beat-frequency charateristics in uniform and non-uniform magnetic field by Lamb theorem. Experimental results consist with our analysis. These results are useful for design of such lasers.

为了研究纵向塞曼拍频稳频激光器工作参数的选取问题,本文用兰姆理论分析了均匀和非均匀磁场下纵向塞曼激光器的拍频特性,并进行了实验观察。实验结果表明,理论分析与实验相符。这对研制纵向塞曼稳频激光器有指导意义。
