This paper presents a method of using the wide joints and the drainage holes to form two sections and one profile for monitoring the uplift pressure. The measured data show that the distribution of uplife pressure is normal and within the designied range. The results also indicate that the uplift pressure distribution is reasonable, drainage measures can be taken under the conditions that the drainage holes are sufficiently efficient and the uplift pressure does not reach its designed value when the geological condition of the dam foundation is unfavourable.

Therefore, to keep the law of conisdering benefits of the local ecnomy, ecology,and maintaining soilfertility in the light of local conditions should become a prerequisite for the exploitation of Huaibeialbic soils. First,we keep a base ourself on to tackle the soil amelioration in integrated wayes,which include the deep plough to destroy the albic horizon, the addition of more organic manureto soil, and the development of proper crop rotation systems. Then, diversified economies shouldbe developed by means of reforming the underdeveloped planting systems and optimizing the present industrial structures within the regional agriculture.

本文从土壤资源的环境因素和人类经济活动两方面分析了淮北白浆土的低产因素,并根据近期的试点研究经验提出了相应的改良利用对策。其主要低产因素在于:①农业地貌条件差;②形成于不同母质的双层质地剖面,不利于植物生长;③水文地质条件差,水资源及必要的灌溉设施短缺;④土地利用模式单一,水土流失严重。为此,对淮北白浆土的改良利用必须坚持因地制宜,兼顾经济效益,生态效益和地力维持效益相统一的原则:第一,立足自浆土改良,进行综合治理实施深耕、增施有机肥及合理轮作等技术。第二,扬长避短,积极发展多种经营,使白浆土的改良更有效、利用更合理。
