Abstact Based on the data of the MICAPS and the NCEP2.5x2.5°from 1996 to 2005,the southwest vortext influencing the south china and the flash-flood-producing vortex are analyzed ,the results reveal the features of the vortexs action,the basis of the vortex and the flash-flood-producing rainstorm forecastings is offered to weather forecasters.
