Artificial neural network(ANN)is being increasingly used in vibration based structural damage identification. It is still a question to be studied as to how to design an effective ANN for structural damage identification.This paper discusses the selection of input vector and architecture design to ANN in structural damage identification The verifications are given through a numerical simulation and an expermental test.

The finite element method is used to form a flexibility matrix of a structure.Based on the structural damage identification by the flexibility matrix method a quadratic programming model is made;and the damage identification method for a cantilever flexible shear building structure is suggested.It is indicated by a numerical simulation of the cantilever flexible shear structural damage identification that only low order modal parameters are needed to identify effectively a structural damage.

应用有限元方法 ,建立结构柔度矩阵 ,在柔度阵法识别结构损伤的基础上 ,构造损伤识别的二次规划模型 ,提出了一种悬臂弯剪型建筑结构的损伤识别方法。通过一个悬臂弯剪型结构损伤识别的数值模拟表明 ,只需低阶模态参数就可有效地识别结构损伤。
