After briefly explaining the work of the drilling pump, we made an analysis of the properties, mechanism and the major influencing factors of the seal failure of drilling pumps. In order to prevent the seal from failing we suggested improving the lubricity of the drilling fluid, perfecting the cleaning system, controlling the clearance between the piston and the liner and taking some preventive measures.

Eight tests forthe testing rings, Which are made of high-chromium cast iron with different hardness and surface finish, rubbing against the testing blocks, which are made of Perbunan Rubber with different hardness, are carried out on MLD-10 dynamic abrasive machine. More than 500 data are obtained, and a number of interesting phenomena are also discovered. On the basis of these results, the parameters for designing liners and pistons are preseated in this paper.

本试验针对钻井泵缸套——活塞摩擦副不同的表面硬度和光洁度,对其在摩料磨损情况下的耐磨性的影响进行3个项目的试验,取得500多个数据。它为摩擦副表面硬度值和光洁度值要求的最佳匹配方案和在自己设计的综台试验台上的进一步试验提供了依据。

Based on the series of experimental studies (Ⅰ), (Ⅱ), this test was carried out by using drilling mud as the working medium to obtain the optimal technical parameters of the rubbing of high-chromium cast iron against perbunan rubbet. Six series of tests for the testing rings, which are made of high-chromium cast iron with different hardness and surface finishs, rubbing against the testing blocks, which are made of perbunan rubber with different hardness, were carried out on the dynamic abrasive machine MLD-10....

Now more than one thousand data have been obtained, from which matched values between the hardness and surface finish of high-chromium cast iron and the hardness of perbunan rubber are obtained.The effect of the hardness and surface finish of high-chromium cast iron, the hardness of perbunan rubber and workingmedium, etc. on the wearability of high-chromiumicast iron and perbunan rubber has been made clear, so that technical parameters for designing liners and pistons are given out, and some noticeable problems are presented in this paper when they are in use.

试验研究是在本系列试验(一)、(二)的基础上,采用石油井场泥浆作介质进行试验研究,以寻求高铬铸铁与丁腈橡胶对磨时的最佳工艺参数。试验是在MLD—10型动载磨料磨损试验机上进行的,对不同表面硬度和光洁度的高铬铸铁试环和不同硬度的丁腈橡胶试块,共进行了六个项目多组的试验,取得了1000多个数据,得出了高铬铸铁与丁腈橡胶对磨时高铬铸铁的表面硬度和光洁度及丁腈橡胶硬度的具体匹配值。同时得出了高铬铸铁表面硬度、光洁度,丁腈橡胶硬度,介质等诸因素对高铬铸铁、丁腈橡胶耐磨性影响的大小。进而提出了泥浆泵缸套活塞的有关工艺参数和使用中值得注意的问题。
