"Guizhou jadeite", a gem stone, has been investigated by ESR. It is a superposed spectrum of white quartz,green dickite and organic substance. The paramagnetic centers in "Guizhou jadeite" are radiation center in quartz (g 2.01);Fe_1~(3+)(g_⊥=4.03,g〃=4.26),Fe_2~(3+)(g_⊥=3.41,g〃=3.18) and VO~(2+)(g_⊥=1.981,g〃=1.938, A_⊥=64.3G, A〃=185.4G) in crystal structure of dickite; organic radical and so on. It is shown again that the blue-green color of "Guizhou jadeite is caused by Cr~(3+) in dickite.

According to the structural settings and minerogenetic characteristics of the deposit, the writers can determine that Xiaoyingpan gold deposit belong to late Archean quartz carbonate gold deposit in high grade metamorphic greenstone belt.

小营盘金矿赋存在稳定的缓倾斜石英脉中,但单纯的白色石英脉仅有微弱矿化,只有经过SN向断层剪切拉张破裂和叠加铁白云石化及硫化物蚀变的石英脉才能成为矿体。金矿体的顶底面常被铁白云石蚀变岩和糜棱岩所包裹,而且部分蚀变岩的金含量也达到工业品位,石英脉与蚀变岩共同构成矿体。因此,早期金成矿作用的时代大致与铁白云石蚀变同期。含金铁白云石蚀变岩的δ13C值平均为-4.13‰,Pb-Pb等时线年龄为2711±238Ma。结合矿床产出的构造背景和成矿特征,初步确定小营盘金矿属于产在高级变质绿岩带、新太古代成矿的石英-碳酸盐型矿床。
