This paper discusses the strength of a ship hull with interaction between longitudinals and transverses. The calculating formulas are determined by using the semi-analysis method. The transfer matrix method and the finite element method are combined in the numerical calculation, which results in simple and quick calculation. A whole ship hull strength analysis then can be lastly conducted on a personal computer.

滚装船总纵强度的特点主要是中拱问题,中剖面的最大中拱弯矩值可能比同样主尺度常规船型要高出40%或更多,所以仅靠现有的规范是不够的,有必要对全船进行结构有限元计算。本文通过对4590PCS汽车船结构特点的分析,利用有限元对全船结构强度进行三种载荷工况的计算分析,对了解、掌握该型船的结构受力特点、优化其结构设计以及对该型船日后的建造、营运、维护均有一定的参考价值。
