A novel automatic classification of digital modulation by statistical parameters was proposed in the paper,based on digital modulation algorithm.The ration of magnitude variance to mean and the ration of frequency variance to mean are used to realize automatic classification of modulation. The proposed method can achieve nice automatic recognition under AWGN and can get high classification efficiency under low SNR.

论文以软件无线电中数字调制算法为理论依据 ,分析提取了用于自动识别的基于参数统计的特征参数 ,提出利用调制信号幅度方差与均值的比值及频率方差与均值的比值实现调制方式识别。在高斯白噪声信道条件下 ,建立的模型可以很好的实现多种数字调制信号的自动识别 ,而且在较低信噪比情况下达到很高的识别效率

With the spectra of digital modulated signal and its non-linear transform being analyzed,two new modulation feature parameters are proposed and descriptions of another two features are modified.Then a novel identification scheme is obtained,capable of blind identification of many commonly used digital modulations in AWGN,using a neural-network-ensemble-classifier.The proposed spectrum-shape parameter is anti-noise,while the new spectrum-line one is robust against modulation parameters,and the performance of neural network ensemble is much better than that of a single network classifier.Simulation results show that the recognition rate can reach 94% when SNR is above 5dB.

通过分析数字调制信号及其非线性变换的功率谱,提出了两个新的调制特征参数,改进了两个相关特征的描述,设计了一种采用神经网络集成结构分类器的识别方案,实现了AWGN信道下常用数字调制信号的自动识别.仿真表明,谱形状特征参数具有很好的抗噪声能力,离散谱线特征参数对信号调制参数更加稳健性,神经网络集成分类器的识别性能显著优于单个网络分类器,SNR>5dB时该识别方法的总体识别率在94%以上.
