The essay formulizes the four functions of the education of mathematics history from the aspects of mathematics history and college mathematics education, and three presented measures about the education of mathematics history are the selection for teaching material,the teaching for explaining the profound in simple terms by the method of integratiing theory with students' knowledge,and the propaganda for mathematics spirit. It appeals to people to pay more attention to the education of mathematics history.

传统的数学教学使学生认为数学是确定的 ,而非探究的 ,不能反映数学知识的本质。而在探究精神下 :数学知识是可误的 (或者说可错的 ) ;数学知识通过非线性过程创造得出 ,在此过程中 ,假设概括起着关键作用 ;数学知识的产生是发生在实践共同体中的一个社会过程。以新的认识观去重新设计数学教学、阐明事实 ,学生将会对数学产生新的认识。

The Education of Mathematics’ History has an important role in the eudcation of mathematics in college. It is useful for students to understand the essence of mathematical knowledge and to train to the ideation. It is necessary to setup the course of history of mathematics or infiltrate the knowledge in the teaching of major. It also needs a suitable texbook and to propagandize the spirit of mathematics.

数学史教育在大学数学教育中具有重要的意义.有助于学生理解数学知识的本质,培养学生的思维能力.有必要开设数学史课程或在专业课教学中渗透数学史知识;有适合学生的专门数学史教材;进行数学史教育要联系学生的数学知识,要深入浅出;要注意数学精神的宣传.
