Study made on the digestion-bottle test of prepared waste water and the experiment of tannery waste treatment in UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Bed) reactor. The problem has been solved theoretically and prac tically: to reflect the performance of anaerobic treatment system , the stability kinetics of UASB reactor and the kinetics of methane production by the specific methane growth rate .

The ISX was prepared according to R.E.Wing method.Various ways of treating leather industry waste water containing chromium in different conditions were tested. The experiment shows that the preparation of ISX(product containing approximately 10% sulfur) was simple and easy. At pH' s 3-8, the rate of chromium removal was high. Even if the initial concentration of chrom was lower, the rate of chromium removal was also more than 99.5%. The residual chromium concentration was below official discharge limit.The...

The residual chromium concentration was below official discharge limit.The most effective removal produced at pH 7, with 120%—150% theorical amount of ISX, in 30 minutes contact time. The treated effluent was clear and colourless, the COD of it decreased.The ISX-chromium sludge settled rapidly and dried easily.The rate of chromium recovery from sludge was up to 96.1%.

本实验首先用R.E.Wing法合成不溶性淀粉黄原酸酯(简称ISX),然后以ISX为处理剂,对制革废水中去除铬的方法、条件、效果等进行了研究和探索。结果表明,ISX合成方法简便可行(含硫量在10%左右),往pH3~8范围内处理制革废水,既使起始浓度较低,去除率也达到99.5%以上,残留铬低于国家排放标准。以pH=7、处理时间三十分钟、ISX的投加量为理论量的1.2~1.5倍处理效果最好。处理后的废水清彻透明,COD值降低,残渣ISX—Cr的沉降速度快且易干燥,铬的回收率可达96.4%。

双层生物滤池是一种新开发的生物处理技术。本文首次采用泥螺壳作为生物滤池填料,处理制革废水。研究表明,双层生物滤池具有省能、处理效率高的特点,对制革废水BOD_5去除率可达95%以上。COD去除率达65%~80%。以泥螺壳为填料,比重轻,强度大,比表面大,易挂膜。并对于双层生物滤池去除有机物的动力学规律,进行了分析。
