The percentage content of lact-ose, peanut flour and phenylacetamide in culture medium for maximizing the penicillin titre is calculated.Both kind of information is important for improving the fermentation technology of related strains.

Production of glycerol by osmotolerant yeasts provide a promising method to solve this problem. Selecting of high-yield strains of osmotolerant yeasts are the foundation of this mahod. Our laboratory obtained a high-yielding strain GW-11 in 1987 from Guangxi. This article introduce the experiment for obtaining the optimal fermentive conditions by cultivating this strain in different media and different cultivating conditions, the glycerol production characteristics of this strain is also observed. The results demonstrated that: compared with the original, the yield rate of glycerol of the strain in the improved fermentation conditions increase to 14.0% from 8.0%, and the conversion rate of saceharide increase to 46.7% from 40.0%. The strain GW-11 has potential value of industrial production of glycerol.

甘油是国防和民用工业的一种重要原料,日前市场供需矛盾突出。耐高渗酵母发酵法制取甘油是解决这一供求矛盾的有希望的途径,而高产菌株选育是该途径的基础。我组1987年从广西自然环境中筛选获得一株产甘油的菌种GW-11。本文是通过对该菌株的培养基组成及培养条件的试验。以获得最佳发酵条件,并对其甘油生产性状进行考察。结果表明:优化发酵条件与原试验条件相比,该菌发酵甘油产率由原8%提高到14.0%,对糖转化率由原来的40%,提高到46.7%,GW—11是一株具有潜在工业生产价值的耐高渗的甘油发酵生产菌。

Two strains of Bacillus subrilis which produce β-glucanase respectively with 61 and 55U/ml were isolated from 22 soil samples.The strains were mutated by NTG and a mutant strain CW-06 was obtained.The optimal fermentation conditions of this mutant was got by orthogonal design.In this way the β-glucanase produced by CW-06 in the broth was found more than 160 U/ml.

从22份土样中,分离得到6株β-葡聚糖酶[EC.3.2.1.73]产生菌,经鉴定为枯草芽孢杆菌。以其中2株产酶活性较高的(61和55U/ml),为出发株,用NTG诱变处理,最后得到突变株CW-06。通过优化发酵培养基和发酵条件,使其产酶能力达到160U/ml以上。
