A single tube evaporator was designed for investigating heat transter coefficients of liquid metals .t either horizontal or vertical position. The heating element, the evaporating vessel and the :ondenser were made of stainless steel.

由于原子能、动力工业、化学工业中技术的进展,目前研究液体金属沸腾传热具有理论和实际的意义。建立了实验设备,对汞和汞齐进行了沸腾给热实验。实验范围是:q=5000~47000千卡/米~2小时;p=1~11绝对压力;沸点t_k=355.9~524℃;p_r=0.0098~0.0077。 实验结果表明: (1)纯汞在常压下沸腾具有膜状沸腾特征,而在加压下沸腾则具有核状沸腾特征。 (2)压力对汞沸腾传热之影响与一般液体不同,在压力4~11大气压范围内变化时,对高热负荷而言压力升高给热系数反而下降。 (3)加入少量镁能改善浸润性能和传热效果,使α上升。加入量增加,α也增大,α=Aq~n中指数n也增大。压力变化对镁汞齐沸腾给热影响不大。 (4)指出现有关于核状沸腾转变为膜状沸腾的理论有片面性。应该同时考虑汽化中心密度和接触角改变的影响,至于哪一个因素是主要的,则需视物料与传热表面之浸润性而定。 (5)得到的汞和镁汞齐压力下沸腾给热实验公式,可供生产设计部门参考。
