Bleaching cotton fabric with sodium hypochlorite may lead to chemical damage and loss of tensile strength.In some instances,tendering of the fiber may not be apparent until the fibre has been treated with alkali,and therefore the determination of tensile strength of bleached cotton fabric alone can not detect the actual extent of the degradation of cellulose.Cuprammonium or cupriethylenediamine is alkaline in character and causes relevant oxycellulose chains (e.g.high copper numbers) to break,so determining cupram-monium or cupriethylenediamine viscosity has been a standard practice for assessing the extent of degradation of cellulose.However,the viscosity method which is time consuming and requires specific apparatus may not be suitable for certain purposes.Scoured cotton fabric was bleached with 2g/1 sodium hypochlorito (based on available chlorine) at various pH (2—12) and tested for damage.The relations between tensile strength of the samples before and after treatment with boiling alkaline solution,copper number,degree of poly-merization (viscosity method),and pH of bleaching solution have been established.It was observed that samples bleached in neutral region showed maximum copper number,mini-mum tensile strength,minimum degree of polymerization,and greatest potential damage.Tensile strength determinations made on samples that have been boiled with alkali solution are found to be more informative than that made on samples without such a treatment in revealing potential and/or apparent damages,so that it may be used for the determination of the extent of damage of cellulose,potential and/or apparent caused during bleaching.

By means of autoradiographic method, the cytokinetic effects of bimolane(AT-1727) on S_(180) cells were studied. These results suggest that bimolane could damage the S phase cells and prevent the cell progression from S phase to M phase. By treatment with bimoiane, the mitotic index decreased, mitotic cells underwent a remarkable damage (such as pyknosis and adhesion of the chromosomes etc) and the S_(180) cells were blocked in the metaphase.Experiments also showed that bimolane retarded the progression of G_2 phase into M phase. The incorporation of ~3H-TdR into DNA was inhibited significantly after 6 hours of injection of bimolane.With the continuous labelling technique by ~3H-TdR for 14 hours, it was demonstrated that the fraction of cells in G_0 phase was about 50%. Nine hours after the administration of bimolane, the damaged cells in G_0 phase Were about 8%, which was not significantly different from that of the control group.From these data it would appear that bimolane may be classified as a cell cycle specific agent.

以放射自显影方法研究了AT-1727对小鼠S_(180)(腹水型)细胞动力学的影响。腹腔注射AT-1727 50 mg/kg后标记指数由未给药时的31.1%逐时下降,24小时后降到14.5%,对秋水仙碱阻断后的标记有丝分裂指数也有明显抑制,说明药物有减少S期细胞和延缓S和/或G_2期细胞进入M期的作用。AT-1727可使分裂细胞受损伤,表现为染色体凝聚、粘连,分裂被阻于中期。药物有抑制细胞对DNA前体物的掺入的作用,对G_0期细胞却无明显损伤作用。说明该药为一细胞周期特异性药物。

In this paper we were reported the method and the result of the application of hematoporphyrin derivative(HPD) plus laser radiation for the diagnosis and treatment of superficial malignant tumor for 6 cases (18 focuses).The early effect of this method was rather satisfactory in 5 cases.Due to the pain caused by laser radiation, the treatment was cesed in one case. According to 18 focuses, 14 focuses were completely disappeared, 3 focuses were partially vanished, and no response in one focus.It shows high selectivity...

In this paper we were reported the method and the result of the application of hematoporphyrin derivative(HPD) plus laser radiation for the diagnosis and treatment of superficial malignant tumor for 6 cases (18 focuses).The early effect of this method was rather satisfactory in 5 cases.Due to the pain caused by laser radiation, the treatment was cesed in one case. According to 18 focuses, 14 focuses were completely disappeared, 3 focuses were partially vanished, and no response in one focus.It shows high selectivity to the tumor tissue and without significant trauma in the normal tissues surrounding the focus.During the course of treatment, no general reaction can be seen. It proves that this method may have a prospective future in the treatment of superficial malignant tumor. In this article we have also discussed the mechanism of HPD plus laser radiation for the treatment of malignant tumor and the light source for treatment ana diagnosis etc.

本文报道我院应用激光血卟啉衍生物(HPD)诊活体表恶性肿瘤6例(18个瘤灶)的方法和结果。5例获得了较满意的近期效疗,1例因激光照相时局部疼痛而中止治疗。本组病例按18个瘤灶计算,瘤体完全消失14个,部分消失3个,无反应1个。本法对癌肿组织选择性高,但对癌肿附近近正常组织无明显损伤,在治疗过程中未见有全身反应,而且操作简便、安全,说明本疗法是治疗体表恶性肿瘤一种很有前途的疗法。本文并对激光HPD诊治恶性肿瘤的机理、诊断和治疗用光源等有关问题进行了讨论。
