A series of fibres which have new properties can be made by adding inorganic compounds particles with different properties to fibre-forming polymers. The article deals with the mechanical properties and shielding rate of neutron shielding fibre was analysed.The results showed that the mechanical properties of neutron shielding fibre are able to satisfy the demand of the textile process and the thermal stability of the fibre was ameliorated.Man is able to make the fabrics and nonwoven fabrics and neutron shielding garments with it.The shielding rate of the nonwoven fabrics reachs over 90% as to thermal neutron.The nonwoven fabrics has also some the shielding...
