Guided with the basic principle of advanced education, this paper centers on the development of undergraduate education in earlier Min dynasty, with emphasis on the history and theory analyses of the system and rules of the undergraduate education management at that time, so as to delineate the regular patterns and characteristics of the development of the undergraduate education in that period, and to find some implications for China's advanced education reform now.
Finally, it summarizes the undergraduate education management in earlier Min dynasty, pointing out that "selective course system" and "professor rules" can be referred to in today's reform of advanced education.
