Linguists began the research of intercultural communicative competence long time ago. A number of factors, both linguistic and socio- economic, have raised the study to high international profile in recent years.

This paper explores the outlook on course evaluation and advances the evaluation systems. It holds that the outlook on course evaluation is definitely dependent on the features of the spoken English course itself and advocates that the outlook should be converted from “teaching evaluated by the teacher” to “teaching evaluated by the learner.” It suggests that the process-monitoring system should function as a real-time, directional supervisor while the effect-evaluating system contributes to feedback control...

英语口语课程的评价观和评价系统作了一些探索。文章提出了口语课程特点决定相应的评价观 ,实现评价观由“以教论教”向“以学论教”的转变 ;强调了过程评价系统对课程目标的实时定向干预 ,结果评价系统对课程执行效果的反馈控制。文章认为 ,客观有效的评价奠基于系统化的要素评价和整合良好的功能评价

Applying language testing theories and u sing ethnographic methodologie s, this paper attempts to propose a multi-linguistic-competence model through di scussing the problematic issues in current practice in Oral English course exams and defining the targeted oral English abilities to be examined.

本文应用语言测试理论和民族志学的研究方法,针对当前英语专业口语课考试的主要问题,对英语专业学生应该考核的英语口语能力和水平做了科学界定,提出了由八项观测参数组成的多维检测语言表达准确性、流利性和得体性的英语口语课程考试理论模式。
