This paper presents therecent technological progress and application in solar thermal elec-tric generating systems,solar photovoltaic power sys-tems and wind power generation in the world and Chi-na.It outlines the prospects for the possible progressin the first half of 21st century,and makes some pro-posals for speeding up research and development of so-lar power generation (in a broad sense) and its indus-trialization。

二十一世纪,人类期望着进入经济、社会与生态环境持续、协调、稳定发展的新时代。在我国,为满足迅速增长的能源与电力的需求,还难以扭转以煤为主的能源结构,在高效、低污染燃煤发电方面还要做出很大努力。与此同时,必须大力促进核能与太阳能(广义)的发展及其产业化,尽快改变以化石能源为主的能源结构,走上持续、协调、稳定发展的道路。本文介绍了近年来,世界与我国在太阳能热发电、太阳光发电和风力发电等方面科学、技术与应用的进展。对二十一世纪上半叶可能的进展进行了展望。

In this paper the latest progress of solar energy application technologies in the world is dis-cussed systematically.And bright prospect of the solar energy is shown.In the coming decadethe research and application of solar energy will be“active”a period of time until commerclal-ization of nuclear fusion energy.Solar energy will be the main energy resource of 21st century and50%of energy consumption of the world will be provided by solar energy by 2030.
