A single tube evaporator was designed for investigating heat transter coefficients of liquid metals .t either horizontal or vertical position. The heating element, the evaporating vessel and the :ondenser were made of stainless steel.

由于原子能、动力工业、化学工业中技术的进展,目前研究液体金属沸腾传热具有理论和实际的意义。建立了实验设备,对汞和汞齐进行了沸腾给热实验。实验范围是:q=5000~47000千卡/米~2小时;p=1~11绝对压力;沸点t_k=355.9~524℃;p_r=0.0098~0.0077。 实验结果表明: (1)纯汞在常压下沸腾具有膜状沸腾特征,而在加压下沸腾则具有核状沸腾特征。 (2)压力对汞沸腾传热之影响与一般液体不同,在压力4~11大气压范围内变化时,对高热负荷而言压力升高给热系数反而下降。 (3)加入少量镁能改善浸润性能和传热效果,使α上升。加入量增加,α也增大,α=Aq~n中指数n也增大。压力变化对镁汞齐沸腾给热影响不大。 (4)指出现有关于核状沸腾转变为膜状沸腾的理论有片面性。应该同时考虑汽化中心密度和接触角改变的影响,至于哪一个因素是主要的,则需视物料与传热表面之浸润性而定。 (5)得到的汞和镁汞齐压力下沸腾给热实验公式,可供生产设计部门参考。

Thio-TEPA was tested as a chemosterilant to armyworm moth, Pseudaletia separataWalker. Treated females crossed with normal maleslaid almost normal number of eggs, which did not hatch; but when treated males werecrossed with normal females, a small percentage of the eggs laid did hatch and developnormally. At present, the study into the quality of the wood-based panels largely depends upon distructive tests of the product and man's senses. With the application of the X-ray, density profiles of about 10 kinds of wood-based panels can be made reflected. The density protiies of the thin panels are generally even, while the thick panels are not. The density on the surface of the panels are higher thaT that of the interior.
