Based on conjugate angle function α(θ) ,the parametric equations of tooth profiles,base curves,contact path and curvature radius centers were established in this paper.

A pressure angle function based model for describing meshing tooth profiles was presented. Based on this model,the parametric equations of meshing tooth profiles,rack profiles and contact path can be directly given without the transformation between the coordinate systems fixed with the meshing tooth profiles. These works provide a new simple method for generating the meshing tooth profiles,rack profiles and contact path.

A pressure angle function(PAF) based method for describing convexity and concavity of tooth profiles was established.
