1982-1984,an investigation en the germplasm resources of Malus in Sichuan was carried out,and the results were reported in this paper. In this investigation, 19 species in Malus were found in Sichuan, and a-mong them,7 species were not reported by professor D.J. Yu in 1979.In view of the situation that a lot of species in Malus were found in the Western Sichuan and Yunnan,which was a corridor region named Chuan Dian palaeoland by geographers,this region may be a genetic centre of Malus in the world.

本文报道了1982~1984年对四川苹果种质资源的调查研究结果.经过调查研究发现四川有苹果属植物19种,比俞德浚报告的多7种.在川西地区和云南省发现了大量的苹果属种,这个被地理学家称为川滇古陆的地区可能是世界苹果物种起源的中心.此外,本文还报道了对苹果属种核型分析、过氧化物酶同功酶分析、花粉形态学等研究的进展.

The study on the epidermic hairs of apple leaves indicated that the average lengths of the hairs in the two sides of leaves of six species (M. hupehensis Read, M. baccota L., M. micromalus Mak., M.manshurica Maxim, M. sieboldii Rehd. and M. halliana Koehne)were shorter, and significantly differenct compared with either diploid or triploid cultivars or dwarf stock. The length and diameter of the upper epidermic hairs and the diameter of the undemeath epidermic hairs of triploid cultivars were all longer and bigger...

本研究表明:湖北海棠[MalushupehensisRehd]、山定子[M.baccata(L.)Borkh]、西府海棠[M.micromaluMakino]、毛山定子[M.mandshurica(Maxim.)Komrov]、三叶海棠[M.sieholdiiRehd]、垂丝海棠[M.halliamaKoehne]6个种苹果叶片两面茸毛平均长度最短,无论与苹果[M.pumilaMill]的二倍体或三倍体栽培品种、或与矮化砧比较差异均显著。三倍体品种叶片上表皮茸毛长度与粗度及下表皮茸毛粗度均大於二倍体品种.元帅系短枝型品种无论上下表皮毛的长度与粗度均比普通品种大.故而认为叶片茸毛在苹果种质鉴定研究中可做为一项重要参考依据。

Malus xiaojinensis is distributed in Mingjiang-Daduhe Strand,the area stretching from the upper reaches of the Mingjiang River to the middle and upper reaches of the Daduhe River. This area is also inhabited by a dozen species of the genus Malus ,including Ser. kansuensis Rehd. They grow together and show some geographic affinity and are likely to have originated from evolution and introgression. M. xiaojinesis is probably a polyploid hybeid arising from specific differentiation and germplasmic...

Malus xiaojinensis is distributed in Mingjiang-Daduhe Strand,the area stretching from the upper reaches of the Mingjiang River to the middle and upper reaches of the Daduhe River. This area is also inhabited by a dozen species of the genus Malus ,including Ser. kansuensis Rehd. They grow together and show some geographic affinity and are likely to have originated from evolution and introgression. M. xiaojinesis is probably a polyploid hybeid arising from specific differentiation and germplasmic introgression. The shape of its leaves is similar to that of M. kansuensis and its distributing suggests a geographic affinity with Ser.kansuensis indicating that it falls into the series Ser. kansuensis taxonomically. The experiment ducuments available show that M. xiaojinensis is resistant to latent virus and the first apple genotype selected for resistance to Fe deficiency. As a stocks, it performed better than M 7. It is believed that this species is a very promising semi-dwarf stock for apple trees.

小金海棠分布在沿岷江上游和大渡河中上游流域之间 ,称为岷江一大渡河带。该地区有陇东海棠系等 10多种苹果属植物的分布 ,种类间的汇集 ,表现为地理亲缘。不同物种汇集地 ,无疑是物种分化及种质渗入十分活跃的地带 ,而小金海棠则有可能是物种分化及种质渗入形成的多倍体杂种。小金海棠幼苗的叶形与陇东海棠近似 ,其分布区与陇东海棠系表现为地理亲缘 ,因此 ,小金海棠应归属于陇东海棠系。小金海棠是在全球范围内筛选出的第一个抗缺铁黄叶病苹果基因型 ,对潜隐病毒也有较强的抗性 ,是极重要的苹果种质资源。作苹果砧木利用 ,其综合性状优于M7,是很有希望的苹果半矮化砧木
