Forecasting urban traffic network flow is the premise for developing urban intelligent transportation system.In this paper,four important forecasting models,including the theory and characteristic,are discussed.In the end,the trend of urban traffic network forecasting method is presented.

In the paper, we introduce a method that is based on an actual urban traffic control system to obtain the real-time vehicle flow value on a whole transportation network and to assign traffic flow in a dynamic user optimal way. Vehicle flows are divided into subflows at each exit of an intersection based on the direction they have chosen. By detecting subflows entering or departing intersections at any time interval, which is set small enough and thus approximates real-time, the flow pattern on the whole network can be determined. Current shortest path/s are thus found and transmitted to the drivers that need them. We apply it to a simulated network as an example of how such the method would work.

考虑了影响出行者交通选择行为的主要因素(时间、费用、方便性、舒适性等),分析了在多种交通方式(私家车、出租车、公交车、轨道交通以及自行车等)存在条件下城市交通网络中出行者交通选择行为,包括交通方式选择和出行路径选择,并基于随机用户平衡(SUE)理论构造了城市混合交通网络的流量分离和分配综合模型及求解算法。最后通过一个简单算例,得到了当各种影响因素变化时,各种交通方式的流量变化情况。
