This paper deals with the strength criterion for the hoisting equipment of a rig, measuring the stresses of the hook body capably loaded 500 short tons and conducting its three dimensional finite element calculation, in the linear elastic range, and further conducting its destructive test in the ela-stoplastic range and the calculation of its limit loaded capacity.

A 1/2-scale frame model of dynamic soil-pile-structure interaction was designed and manufactured,and the tests of its steady state excitation in elastic range were carried out.
