报道了采用γ射线辐照技术保藏莲子的试验结果。试验发现危害莲子的主要虫害是象鼻虫,主要霉变是青霉和米曲霉。实验得出杀虫剂量为0.8kGy,灭菌剂量为5kGy。采用布袋包装的辐照莲子经仓库贮藏观察,贮藏期达三年之久,不虫蛀、不霉变。对辐照样测试结果证明,辐照保藏不影响莲子的营养成分,无致病菌检出,对人们食用是卫生安全的。
