小卫星推进系统可以完成多种功能:变轨、轨道保持、姿态控制、重新定位以及离轨等。先进化学推进系统和低功耗电推进系统是现代小卫星的理想选择。近期可供小卫星应用的推进系统包括高压Ir/Re双组元推力器、电弧推力器、霍尔推力器、脉冲等离子体推力器。业已证明,这些推进系统可以在目前计划中的许多小卫星上发挥其用武之地。本文综述了这一技术领域的最新进展。

Arcjet is the highlight of investigation and application in world because of its high ratio of thrust and power and high thrust density.This paper describes internal operating mechanism of Arcjet,presents project of experiment and parameters measurement of arcjet.Aim at small satellites,four types of thrusters were employed to present performance test using N2 as propellant,primary operating performance parameters and experimental results analysis are presented.The test results show that thruster performance will be well when operating parameters optimized and structure designed rationally.The conclusions obtained in this paper provide a reference for the optimization design of low power arcjet thruster.

电弧推力器 (arcjet)因其高推力 /功率比、高推力密度等特点成为当前国际上电火箭研究和应用的热点。文章描述了 arcjet的内部工作机理 ,介绍其实验和工作参数测量方案 ,针对小卫星使用 N2 作为推进剂 ,对 4种不同结构尺寸的小功率 arcjet进行了不同工况下的性能实验 ,给出初步的发动机工作性能参数及实验结果分析。实验结果表明优化推力器工作参数并合理设计其结构尺寸可提高推力器性能。所得结论对小功率 N2 arcjet推力器的优化设计具有的参考价值。
