In order to explore the possibilty of hot plastic working in aluminum-alumina composite,its micro-structure transformation process has been observed with the high-temperature microscope at 450 C and 600 C respectively during compression test. It is found that the fibers can flow with the matrix alloy. But the fibers neither break nor break away from the matrix alloy. It showe that the interface between the fibers and the matrix is strong enough to permit transfer of load from the matrix to the fiber, it is posible...

The paper studies the effects of 20% SiCw whisker content on the mechanical properties of pressureless sintering whisker-reinforced alumina ceramic matrix composite. The presenting composite with Si_3N_4 possesses 95. 5% relative density, 15. 5GPa hardness and 6.0GPam ̄1/2 fracture toughness. The increasing toughness mechanism of whisker-reinforced composite,the improving sintering reason of Si_3N_4 additive and its influence on the thermal shock resistance are discussed.

通过对20%SiCw补强Al_2O_3复合材料的无压烧结,研究了氮化物活化剂的添加量对材料密度和性能的影响,得到95.5%的密度,HV=15.5GPa,K_IC=6.0MPam ̄1/2的结果,讨论了晶须增韧此种复合材料的机制,以及氮化物添加剂活化烧结的原因,和对氧化铝复合材料的抗热冲击性能的影响.

The authors prepared titanium alloy(Ti-6Al-4V) α-Alumina (α-Al2O3) powdermixture by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(SHS)and the compotite with acomposition corresponding to the prepared intermdiate mixture was formed and sintered by hotpress method, some properties of the composite were measured and some questions raised inexperiments were discussed.

采用自蔓高温合成(SHS)工艺制备了钛合金氧化铝复合粉体,并经热压烧结制成钛合金氧化铝复合材料,测定了该复合材料的主要性能,就有关问题作了分析和探讨。
