In this paper, the strength and plasticity of Al-Cu alloys in solid-Liquid state have been investigated by utilizing a testing unit designed by the authors. The effect of following variables on strength and plasticity of the alloys in solid-liquid state have been examined: temperatura, Cu-content, grain shape, inoculation and low melting impurities. The experiments have shown that there is a hot-brittle weakened zone in solid-liquid state because of the existence of interdentritic liquid so that the strength and plasticity of the alloys are very low. This is the main re-ason far castings to form hot tearing.In solid-liquid state, the columnar structure obt-ained by unidirectional solidification possesses much higher strength and plasticity in its growth direction than that of equiaxed structure. The inoculation which red-uces the amount of low melting grainboundary impurities will play an important role in the improvement of mechanical properties and prevention of hot tearing.

本文采用自行改装设计的固液态力学性能测试装置对铸造Al—Cu合金在固液态时的强度和塑性进行了研究。考察了温度、钢含量、铸态晶粒形状、钛的孕育作用及低熔点杂质对合金在固液态时的强度和塑性的影响。研究结果表明,合金在固液态时由于液体在晶间的分布,呈现出一个明显热脆弱区,强度和塑性值都很低,是铸件形成热裂的主要原因。单向凝固获得的柱状晶,在固液态时的横向力学性能比普通柱状晶横向性能可以高出十倍。对合金进行孕育处理,减少晶界的低熔点杂质对提高固液态的力学性能,防止热裂纹产生具有重要的作用。

The effect of the rare earth element La on hot brittleness of the Al-4% Cu alloys has been invetigated by using a specially designed test unit. The experimenta results showed that with a small amount of La added the hot brittleness zone of the Al-4% Cu alloy in solid-liquid state obviously reduces, i. e. the lower limir of this zone move up, and the instantaneous fracture strength obviously increases. A new technology for replicating liquid and solid particles in natural clouds based on photosolidifing replication principle was developed by Jin Lin Institute of Meteorological Reseach etc. in 1981. A new technology for replicating liquid and solid particles in natural clouds based on photosolidifing replication principle was developed by Jin Lin Institute of Meteorological Reseach etc. in 1981. Author's work shows that the photoso-lidified replication method can be used to measure artificial crystals and droplets in the laboratory. The experimental results show the photosolidified replication of artificial crystals whose diameters are from 10° μ to 100 μ is satisfactory so that it may be used to replace the method of sugar solution. The patterns of crystals on the replications are clear, less deformed and easy to preserve. But it is difficult [to catch small droplets with photosolidified thin film and the quality of replication is greatly effected by environment temperature, humidity and sampling wind speed. Therefore the usefulness of this method is restricted.

1981年吉林省气象科学研究所等单位研制出,在自然云雾中复制固液态粒子的光固印模新技术。作者将此项技术扩展应用到实验室条件下,复制人造冰晶和雾滴。直径几微米至100微米的人造冰晶和雾滴的印模实验指出:光固印模法复制云室冰晶非常理想,印模清晰,失真度小,并能保存,可取代现用糖液检测冰晶的方法;由于光固液膜对小雾滴的捕获效率低,并受取样时环境的温度、湿度和取样风速的影响严重,所以用它复制雾滴受到一定的限制。
