Different chemotherapy regimens were applied to 158 cases with advanced cancer NRL-001 Double RF Tumor Hyperthermia System was applied to heat the tumor sites at 41℃~43℃ for 60~90 minutes, with 5~20 times (average 9 times) for each patient.
Method:50 cases of late cancer were randomly divided into two groups. 30 cases in the treatment group were treated by Chinese medicine and endogeny heat therapy system,20 cases in the control group were treated simply by endogeny heat therapy system.
In such a strategy, a tumor-specific hyperthermia system, which can heat the local tumor region to the intended temperature without damaging normal tissue, would be highly advantageous.
The clinical efficacy of a microwave (MW) hyperthermia system using an electric-field converging (lens) applicator is evaluated for 42 malignant tumours with a maximum tumour depth of less than 7 cm.
The power distributions in liver region irradiated by annular phaserarray system for hyperthermia are investigated numerically in this paper. Modeld based on CT scans from the liver region of patients are used for predicating the power distributions. The results indicate that effective hyperthermia patterns in liver region can be obtained from this system, by means of adjusting phases and amplitudes of the array.
This paper discussed a new typeof annular phased array system--H-horn APA. The phase and amplitudecontrol of power deposition patternsfor this system were theoreticallyanalyzed at a frequency of 200 MHzusing moment methods. The formulasof calculating E field and SAR forthis AAP system were derived, andcan be applied to the other types ofAPA systems. Models on computeriz-ed tomography (CT)scans from lungregions have been used for predictingoptimization of E field and SARpatterns in the case of the relativeph...
The field 梚teration method is used for three 梔imensional simulation of the H 梙orn annular phased array (APA) for deep regional hyperthermia at a frequency of 200 MHz. The iterative equations for this purpose are derived in details from Green's dyadic theory. The E梖ield and SAR distributions in a circular cylindrical model of a liver patient and distilled water are investigated in various radiation conditions of APA applicators. The numerical results are obtained for predicting the effectiveness of the itera...
