The results showed that a solid resin with relatively high molecular weight, and low dimer content, was obtained by controlling polymerization conditions, such as initiator concentration and / ratio even at a high temperature(25℃). When the [AlCl 3]=21.3mmol/L, /=1, the n was up to 810 and the dimer content was only 7%. The initiating mechanism of the binary catalyst AlCl 3/SbCl 3 was also studied...

The results suggested that a new initiating species, being different from proton in nature, was generated from interaction of AlCl 3 and SbCl 3.

研究了常温下(25℃)AlCl3/SbCl3复合引发体系的α-蒎烯聚合反应.结果表明,控制一定的引发剂浓度、[Sb]/[Al]比等条件,即使温度高达室温仍可获得较高摩尔质量的固态树脂.[AlCl3]=21.3mmol/L,[Sb]/[Al]=1时,聚合产物Mn可达到810,二聚体含量仅为7%.复合引发体系的聚合动力学研究表明该复合引发剂两组分相互作用产生了本质不同于Lewis阳离子引发剂活性种的新活性种.

The composite initiator containing butyl ester of peroxy-acid(G) and hexyl ester of peroxy-acid(F) was successfully replaced by the composite initiator containing di-(3,5,5-trimethylhexanoyl) peroxide and F,realizing the home making of the initiator. This paper introduced this research work in detail.The optimum ratio of F to DTMHP is 1.8∶1.Not only were satisfied polymerization time and resin quality obtained,but also the total production cost of initiator was reduced.
