This report described the use of platinum, palladium or iridium in micrograms as matrix modifiers for the detetmination of Te (Ⅳ ) and Te (Ⅵ). The charring temperature of tellurium can be raised up to 1300℃. The extraction behavior of Te (Ⅳ) and Te (Ⅵ) with KI-MIBK was investigated in details. Based on the results obtained an analytical method for differential determination of tellurium (Ⅳ) and tellurium (Ⅵ) was recommended. Based on the results obtained an analytical method for differential determination of tellurium (Ⅳ) and tellurium (Ⅵ) was recommended. Tellurium (Ⅳ) was extracted with KI-MIBK and back extracted with (1:1) ammonium hydroxide, and tellurium (Ⅵ) was separately determined after reduction to Te ( Ⅳ ) by boiling Te (Ⅵ) with (1:1) hydrochloric acid. The ammonium hydroxide solution was introduced into the graphite furnace with matrix modification technique using micrograms of platinum, palladium or iridium. Concentrations of Te (Ⅳ) and Te (Ⅵ) in several real water samples were found to be less than 0.02ppb a'nd 0.03-0.06ppb, respectively. Sensitivity of the recommended method is 2-3 orders of magnitude greater than that reported in the literature.

A method has been developed for the determination of sodium and potassium in ultra-pure water by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy. A technique direct introducing samples into the furnace without chemical treatment and concentration is used for preventing the contamination of samples.The technique of controlling blank and the method of making up calibration curve are also described. The detection limits for sodium and potassium are 0.022μg/1 and 0.05μg/1 respectively.

提出了应用石墨炉原子吸收测定超纯水中痕量钾和钠的方法。为避免试样沾污采用了直接进样石墨炉原子吸收法,不经任何化学处理和富集。详细描述了控制空白和建立工作曲线的方法。测定超纯水的检出限钾为0.05微克/升,钠为0.022微克/升。
