Acetylene has been a basic material for the chemical industry for some decades. Pyrolysis of coal in hydrogen-enriched plasma opens up a direct means of producing this important primary substance,which may become attractive as a new commercial process in the future. The technical and economic evaluation of the new process revealed that the production cost of acetylene derived from coal pyrolysis in plasma is comparative to that of acetylene produced conventionally via hydrolysis of calcium carbide,The economic feasibility of the new technique depends to a large extent. on the maximum yield Of acetylene and onthe specific energy requirement. These factors are. in turn, functions both of operational conditions(i.e.,the parameters of plasma generator and coal pyrolysisreactor.etc)and the properties of the coal used. The present paper summarizes past work carried out abroad in the field of coal pyrolysis in plasma and introduces briefly our own work in the same field.

煤在富氢热等离子体中热解直接制取乙炔,是一条具有潜在工业发展前景的新工艺路线。最近发表的该技术的技术经济评价报告表明:等离子体热解煤直接制乙炔的生产成本与传统的水解电石法的乙炔成本基本相同,但新技术对环境没有污染,新技术的经济可行性在很大程度上取决于乙炔的最大收率及单位体积乙块的能耗,而这两个指标又由工艺条件(等离子体发生器和煤热解反应器的结构及氢气源成本等)和煤的性质决定。本文对国外在这一领域的工作进行了全面的评述,并扼要介绍了我们自己的研究工作。

The distilled fractions from the lHR (internal heating retort) low temperaturepyrolysis coal tar has been analyzed with HP 5988A GC-MS. The results have shown that (1) 168components were identified qualitatively and quantitatively. (2) The coal tar are the properties oflower denslty (0. 97 g/cm3, 20℃), higher H/C (1.38), higher product rate in IBP~340℃ frac-tion (63.0%) and the higher content of both aliphatic hydrocarbons (27.1%) and phenols(14.0% ). And in phenols the tricresolamine are more than that of others...

The content of different kinds of paphthalene products is about 11. 2%, but no naphthalenewas found, 19 kinds of azotic compounds, 21 alcohols and 44 kinds of aromatic compound werealso identifled. The results provide the basis data for acquiring phenols compounds and fuel oilsby tar processing.

采用GC-MS技术对IHR(内热式连续直立于馏炉)热解煤焦油进行了详细的表征。分析结果表明:平朔气煤的IHR低温热解焦油中<340℃的馏分占焦油总量的63%,从中定性定量出168种化合物。其中脂肪族长链烷烃和烯烃含量高达27.12%以上,酚类化合物为14%.各类化合物的分布和特征均与高温煤焦油有极大差异,使其更易于进行加工利用,除可从中提取酚类化工原料外,还是制取高级动力燃料的优质原料。

通过对煤在电弧等离子体中的热解行为和煤与活性物种的作用机理探讨,提出煤与电弧等离子体的作用是煤在等离子体中的热解、煤中的碳与活性物种、煤分子结构中的化学键和活性物种,以及热解挥发物和活性物种的综合作用结果。在氢电弧等离子体中,每种作用对煤转化及产物的生成都有贡献,然而作用机理不尽相同。其中氢原子在煤转化的过程中起了很重要的作用。
